In network marketing, it’s critical to gain more followers every single day. Each new follower or Facebook friend is an opportunity to help someone and reach them.
It’s important to mention – that your mindset is KEY. While you want to gain more followers every day, it should still be personal. When you are looking to gain more followers – it should be ideal clients you want to work with and more importantly – someone who needs your help or product.
With that said – there are 7 fail-proof ways to gain more followers today!
1. People I May Know
Facebook has the option to friend request people you may know based on your friendships you have in common with someone. You can find this option by typing “Find Friends” in the search bar.
You can reconnect with old friends using this option or look for people that fit your ideal client. I send 3-5 friend requests to people this way each day.
You’ll want to check your pending requests (found under the “friend” icon next to messages and notifications) every other day to cancel pending requests to prevent Facebook from taking away your right to friend request people for X amount of days.
2. Facebook Groups
Facebook groups allow you to connect with people with similar interests as you and gain more followers. You can find groups by going to “New Groups” on the left-hand side of the Facebook newsfeed or using the Search Bar. If you use the Search Bar option – just start typing in an interest and click enter. Then choose the “Groups” Tab to view matching groups.
You’ll want to vary what kind of groups you join. The more random the group – the better. You don’t want to stick to just groups related to your business.
Once you find a group you are genuinely interested in, comment on posts, add value to the group, and get to know people. You do not want to post anything about your business in the group – just make friends.
Once you’ve made friends with someone through 2-3 posts back and forth, you can send them a friend request. Once you’re friends, they’ll see your personality, values, and consistency in your posts.
Also – just to repeat – you shouldn’t post about any free or paid groups you are offering. Just get to know people and make a genuine connection with them before friended them.
3. Calendar System
The Calendar System and the Opt-in Funnel System are both set up the same way to gain more followers. The Calendar System works well if you haven’t invested in an email service like Aweber yet.
The first week of the month, you offer a free challenge or something of value for free where people can join and get to know you easily (usually in a Facebook Group). The free group should last about a week.
At the end of the first week, you can invite those people to the free group to the next step which is typically a lower-priced product you offer.
The 2nd week of the month, you work with those people that purchased your product. Then, during the 3rd or 4th week, you offer them the next step which is either joining your network marketing team or a higher priced product you offer.
This is something you can do with your whole team in network marketing. You would just set up 3 groups or events. The first is free, the second is a low-price option, and the third is a higher-priced option or joining your team.
The free option brings in new people to your network every month!
4. An Opt-In Funnel System
The Opt-In Funnel system works the same way as the calendar system. You could just create a free PDF or video to send by e-mail. You ask people to fill out a form with their email to receive it. This works well in growing your email list, and it’s something you can offer at any point of the month because it can be automated. If you are using Aweber, you can set up “Follow Up Emails” to go out automatically for you!
The first freebie goes out immediately, then another email to check on them and get feedback, then present your low-price item with more value, and continue the process.
To Create an Opt-In,You’ll also need an email service like Aweber to send out the automated emails.
5. Facebook Ads
Facebook Ads are a great way to gain more followers! We will always promote any free option to our clients to gain more followers. You’ll want to make sure to tailor your audience to be your ideal client and also keep your audience between 250,000 to 1 million people for best results.
Referrals can be a great way to gain more followers. A simple way to ask is when you promote a free group to include a call-to-action saying “Comment I’m In and Tag a Friend for Accountability to Do This With You!”
You can also ask your current clients to invite a friend to a free event or challenge you are offering. Starting with something free makes the referral seem more fun versus nerve wrecking.
Blogging has helped us gain more followers every day for years. One way we have gained thousands on our email list (that eventually bought a product) was talking about a new product coming out in a few months. They signed up for first access to the product. We emailed them when it came out with our affiliate link, and they bought!
Blogging just opens up so many cool opportunities. Your ideal client could be at home wanting to look up something. They type it into Google, and there is your site.
They can immediately get to know you without any extra effort on your part. They can even purchase straight from your site and get to know whether the two of you would get along.
It also allows you to connect with people that are already researching something you are passionate about that know how to use a computer. These people would be perfect for your team if you’re into network marketing. If you’re thinking about blogging – it does take time, some skill, and consistency but it is by far the best way to gain more followers online. It works for you, and your content can be seen and shared for months and years to come!
