Bridal Shower Invitations
You’ll want to make sure you have all of the guest addresses ahead of time, and we recommend sending out invitations X weeks before the special day.

What should be included on the invites?
On the invitations, you’ll want to include the important details like: time, date, location, where the couple is registered and how to RSVP.
If you’d like to encourage guests to match the theme you may want to include a request for them to come in a neutral or citrus color or print.
What to Look for in Invitations
If you choose to order other invitations online, we usually shop on Etsy and look for the following:
- 5 Star sellers
- Recent positive feedback and reviews
- Is a digital proof offered?
- How many revisions are allowed? How fast will you receive a new proof?
- If they are printing, what type of cardstock will be used?
We prefer a thick, smooth white cardstock for invitations because it makes the citrus colors pop. If the seller doesn’t offer printing, you could take the digital file to a print shop or an office supply store like Staples.

Color Palette
Sticking to one color palette creates a vibe throughout the shower.
We chose sunny colors like orange, bright pink, yellow, along with a couple of neutral colors like beige and white.
We liked pairing everything with silver and glass accents, too!
Once you have your color palette, you can start mixing in different colors, textures, and patterns into your bridal shower decorations. This colored garland is a great option to mix in some texture!

You could also do a blue, yellow, white color palate. We love these blue and yellow invites with lemons. We also found matching blue and yellow citrus themed welcome signs, games, and cookies!
Centerpieces
Since the bridal shower is citrus themed, we liked mixing various citrus fruits in vases as centerpieces. Oranges, limes, lemons, and grapefruit are all great choices! If you wanted to add in flowers, garden roses and peonies are always gorgeous!
Votives are also a great add-on for tables, and they are relatively inexpensive.
Another budget-friendly centerpiece option that doubles as a party favor are filling small mason jars with citrus-colored jelly beans!
Welcoming People In
Having a few statement pieces can go a long way with making the party be special! A personalized welcome sign or citrus colored balloons can help guests find the home or event space easily.
We also love the idea of doing a bunch of citrus colored balloons against a wall or creating a balloon arch for a place to take photos.

Also nothing sets a guest at ease like having someone to welcome them inside and offer them a drink.
We love the idea of a mimosa bar because it’s functional and doubles as decor if you make it look cute!

Bridal shower games are a great ice breaker if your guests don’t know one another well. Plus, games bring them together because of their shared love of the bride!
