We’ve combined only the best foods for these Fried Chicken Loaded Waffle Fries! Skip the chips and enjoy these massive nachos with fried chicken, jalapeños, cooked bacon, and cheddar cheese on fries instead!
I love nachos, but the chips seem like such a waste sometimes. We swapped the chips for waffle fries to make an epic cheat meal worthy of any Super Bowl party (or a Friday night at home!).
This is also such a fun dinner idea for a family night!
What You’ll Need
- 22oz Bag of Frozen Waffle Fries
- 6 Fried Chicken Tenders (We like spicy ones if you can find them!)
- 1/2 Cup Jalapeños
- 1 LB Cooked chopped bacon (or bacon bits)
- 2 Cups Cheddar cheese
- 1/4 Cup Tomatoes or Pico De Gallo
- Your choice of Nacho Cheese, Sriracha, Ranch, or Sour Cream (optional)
You can really customize this recipe to suit your family as well! I topped my nachos with ranch and Jake used Sriracha and sour cream – there isn’t a wrong way!
How to Make Loaded Waffle Fry Nachos
- If you choose to cook your own tenders, go ahead and fry them ahead of time. I used store bought and just cut them with scissors and placed in a separate bowl until the fries were done.
- Cook a bag of frozen waffles according to the bag’s directions.
- 5 minutes before they’re done, add fried chicken, jalapeños, cooked bacon (or bacon bits), and cheddar cheese on top. Place back in oven.
- Once you pull it out from the oven, top with ranch dressing or sour cream if you’d like.
