Should you get Jeff’s Course, Product Launch Formula, versus his book, Launch?
Jeff currently offers a book, Launch: An Internet Millionaire’s Secret Formula To Sell Almost Anything Online, Build A Business You Love, And Live The Life Of Your Dream, explaining the details of his product launch strategy so that entrepreneurs can create their own PLF-style launch without spending a lot of money.
Just like anything Jeff does, whether it’s a free class or his online course, the book is packed with practical, how-to’s to implement.
If you enjoy reverse engineering things and figuring out how things go together, you will love the book! Otherwise, it can be pretty overwhelming.
It’s definitely not a read-once-and-done kind of book.
If you’re willing to really engage with the book though – it really is a game changer for your business.
Side note: I normally love an audio book, but if you decide to try Launch first, I recommend the paperback. I have so many notes and dog-ears in my copy!
With that said, I really recommend going through one of his free Masterclasses when he launches PLF again in 2024! The book is awesome, but being able to hear and see him really helped me decide on the full Product Launch Formula Course.

He not only covers the principles for Product Launch Formula, but teaches exactly how you can use it now. He gives examples, flow charts, scripts he uses….everything.
There is absolutely no fluff and youâll always know the next step when following Jeffâs process.
I will say this though: This is like a college course.
The amount of content and details put into this course is crazy. In each module Jeff shares both theory and practical applications through examples. You’ll see him drawing on a whiteboard showing you how to go from step to step and find worksheets and scripts throughout the program.
While it’s absolutely amazing to have a detailed system that you know works, it can also be a little overwhelming.
If you want to see results from the program, you have to set time each week to go through a module and really apply it to your business.
One thing I do really like is that when you first sign up, Jeff unlocks one module at a time per week. This is helpful since each module contains so much information. It gives you time to process, learn the ideas, and implement them.

Is Product Launch Formula Salesy or Unethical?
This sounds horrible, but I’m glad we met Jeff at a conference. If we hadn’t, I might would have lumped him in with sleazy internet marketers. But he is so far from that.
He is so down to earth and just really enjoys what he does! He really is just a normal guy and his course offers some of the best teaching we’ve seen!
I also really love his approach to marketing because it isn’t hard sales or aggressive.
Is Product Launch Formula Right for You?
While we love the Product Launch Formula course, it is an advanced course. So if you’re not sure what you want to sell online or you’re just starting, I’m going to say wait to buy and go through it once you have a product or service.
Other reviews will tell you to go ahead and buy because you’ll learn how to create a product — and that is absolutely true.
I just feel like that would be a lot for someone right off the bat. If you have a product you want to revamp, it would be a good idea to go through the course, but if you’re just getting started online maybe look at Marketing Impact Academy or another reputable marketing program.
With that said, Product Launch Formula is perfect for you if…
- you have a product or service (even if it’s failed before)
- have a audience already (even if its small)
- run a blog, podcast, or coaching business consistently
- and are also willing to put in the work!
This course can be a major game changer, but it requires a good amount of time and a lot of hard work.
I also don’t feel like this is something you can outsource because how you set up your launches really requires you to have a vision for your brand and clients.

Absolutely!! The “money-back guarantee” was what sold us on trying it, but it’s now one of those programs we’d never return!
Even though money was tight, this training was so worth it and paid for itself pretty quickly!
