If the homemade dog cookies don’t have any meat and are dry, they can be stored in an airtight container for 2-3 weeks. Moist treats, or treats with meat, need to be refrigerated in a airtight container and can last 7-10 days. (Source)

What flour is best for dog treats?

We like to use whole-wheat flour because it’s a little healthier than other flours. With that said, all purpose flour would also work!

Finding the Christmas Tree Mold

We just used a silicone mold from Amazon! You can grab a Christmas tree mold or a variety of Christmas molds here.

How to Make 3-Ingredient Homemade Christmas Dog Treats

What You’ll Need

¼ cup of frozen peas
1-1.5 cup of all purpose flour
¼ cup of applesauce

How to Make

Blend frozen teas and apple sauce in a blender until smooth
Mix in flour ½ a cup at a time until you have a smooth mixture. You want it to be thick and slightly sticky, but not runny.
Pour into molds and bake at 350 for 25-35 minutes
Your treats are ready when they are fully dry looking and they can be popped out of the mold easily.
Let fully cool and pop out of molds.
