Highlights from Episode 48 on Vision & Life Goals
We broke today’s podcast episode into 2 parts:
- Life Goals & Vision
- How to Pick 1 Goal at a Time
Let’s Start with Life Goals & Vision
There are a couple ways to do this! You can choose 1 way or multiple ways to solidify your vision!
1. You could create a goal board!
If you are a highly visual person – we definitely recommend this! You can check out our episode on vision boards by searching episode 38 or see how we made one using our vision board guide.
2. Write Out Your Eulogy
This can help identify future goals, as well as, life goals you want to accomplish.
3. Write Out Your Day in the Life
We encourage you to pretend you have everything you could possibly desire, and write out a day-in-the-life scenario from your vantage point.
It should be in present tense and be really specific.
Also, don’t let limiting beliefs or what other people might think get in your way!
Write down what makes you happy aligning it with your priorities and definition of success!
Give yourself 30 minutes to brainstorm and day-dream. You may even discover experiences, people, and things you didn’t even know you wanted in your life!
How do you see yourself? Who do you want to become? What characteristics do you have? Who are you surrounded by?
Now, fill in the blank….In my lifetime, I want to….
For us, our life goals are to be healthy multi-millionaires with flexible schedules.
We spend time & money on experiences and causes we are passionate about like rescue dogs.
Now what’s 1 goal you could set to make this LIFE come true??
Remember, this life goal of yours can take years to accomplish. That is okay!
Pick out one goal you want to focus on to move closer to vision you’ve set for your life.
The goal could be:
- physical,
- financial,
- spiritual,
- material,
- career-oriented, or
- romantically-focused in nature.
Once you have the goal selected, think about:
- How much time will it take to achieve?
- What will you need to learn?
- What will you need to do?
- What obstacles will you have to overcome?

Deciding What Goals to Set for Yourself
Before moving on — let’s make sure you’ve set the RIGHT goal.
If you died today, would you REGRET not having done or achieved this goal?
Don’t want what you don’t want.
CHOOSE the life you want and go after it.
