Variations of the Grandma’s No Bake Cherry Fluff Salad Recipe
You may find other recipes use maraschino cherries in the recipe. We love the pie filling instead because it’s thicker and more rich. We topped ours with some of the maraschino tart cherries instead!
Other recipes also call for sour cream or cottage cheese, but we prefer to use whipped cream and sweetened condense milk for a richer flavor and creamy texture.
You could also add in mandarin oranges, fruit cocktail, chopped pecans or nuts to this cherry dump salad recipe.
We hope you love this no-bake dessert! It’s one of our favorite easy recipes and always a family favorite side dish for a pot luck. It’s perfect on a hot summer night, too!
