Where can you buy crab legs?
We like to get our crab legs at Costco or Sam’s Club because it’s a cheaper without sacrificing on quality. You can also always go to a local shop or a grocery store like Publix or Whole Foods for seafood options! Typically, it costs about half to buy fresh crab legs at a store versus a restaurant. The price usually ranges between $15-25 per pound depending the variety of crab you buy.
How much crab meat do you get from crab legs?
Usually, crab legs are about 50% meat and 50% shell. So if you were to buy a pound and a half of crab legs (24 ounces) for two people, you’d end up with about 10-12 ounces of crab a piece.
