Wines to Serve with Lobster Dishes
Dry white wines go great with lobster dishes! Here are a few of our favorite brands and varieties.
The best wine to serve with lobster is a Chardonnay. We like to choose one from California, Chile, or Australia. Chardonnay works well because it's creamy and buttery, as well as, acidic. We like varietals with minerality and citrusy notes will bring out the complex flavors in the lobster.
If you want to go a little wild and are serving a creamy lobster dish with heavy sauces, we love Sauvignon Blanc. This white wine is has good acidity and is very citrus-heavy which is a good contrast to the creamy sauces involved with some lobster dishes.
Riesling is a great compliment is our lobster dish is spicy!
