If you’re planning for your upcoming date night, choose a time to start the date and invite your significant other ahead of time with a cute text message or note.

It’s a great idea to pick up something yummy to go along with your movie night! We love sharing ice cream or getting DoorDash to deliver something tasty from a local restaurant!
3. Set the Scene
Before you start your movie, why not have a romantic dinner? You could light candles, sprinkle rose petals along the hallway and choose a nice tablecloth to set the mood, and then eat in the dining room together!

We love to choose romantic comedies or scary movies for a romantic movie night! If you want to go tried-and-true, Pretty Woman with Julia Roberts and Richard Gere is a classic!
Princess Bride is another romantic comedy that even men seem to enjoy! We also love the idea of choosing an action film or horror movie that you both can enjoy.

If you want to take the fort idea a step further, consider inflating an air mattress and topping it with extra blankets and tons of pillows for a cushy spot!

Whether you’re doing road-trip candy and the National Lampoon’s Vacation or The Godfather and pizza — food can really make it more fun!
