What is BODYCOMBAT?
LES MILLS BODYCOMBAT delivers a high-energy martial-arts inspired workout through a high-intensity interval training and amazing music.
The full body workout is available with a monthly subscription to Les Mills + (formerly Les Mills on Demand). While the class is usually an hour, there are 30-minute workout options on the app as well.
This whole body workout is designed to torch calories and is taught at an intermediate to advanced fitness level. The workouts include moves from Karate, Taekwondo, Boxing, Muay Thai, Capoeira and Kung Fu.
Our favorite part? The workouts are all set to music which makes them fun, and the coolest part is you can burn up to 740 calories** in a class!

Is BODYCOMBAT a good workout?
BODYCOMBAT is a great calorie-torching cardio workout, and it challenges every muscle group as well!
After this awesome workout, I can feel my core, back, shoulders, and legs! All of the punches, kicks, and lunges help shape and tone your body while you’re burning a ton of calories.
What exercises does BODYCOMBAT include?
Bodycombat classes are a total body workout. The instructors combine moves from Karate, Taekwondo, Boxing, Muay Thai and Kung Fu with functional training moves like high knees, squats, burpees, lunges, and push-ups.
You can even choose workouts focused on the upper body, lower body, speed, or strength.

What equipment do you need?
You don’t need any special equipment! Optional equipment includes an exercise mat, a sweat towel, and a water bottle.
Can a Beginner do BODYCOMBAT?
You can enjoy BODYCOMBAT at any point in your fitness journey. The expert instructors are great about showing proper form, as well as, demonstrating lower impact options to help beginners. We suggest starting with a shorter class and seeing how your body does to start. There are also beginner workouts to learn some of the main moves.
Is there a modifier?
No, but there are modifications shown throughout the workout.
How many times a week can I do LES MILLS BODYCOMBAT?
This is a very effective workout — so even doing it 1 to 3x a week is great! You could also do strength workouts, like BODYPUMP, or flexibility workouts, like BODYFLOW, on the other days of the week.
